SixWordStories would like to wish everyone a very happy New Year! May 2015 be prosperous for you all, in more ways than one!
We have some exciting updates for you - mostly, they consist of our plans for this year!
The New Year comes with new projects and the dispensing of old ones, so here's a heads up of what we will be up to!
We have gotten rid of our Theme Prompt, Word Prompt and Versicolour Project Prompt. These have all been steadily declining in terms of activity, so we have gotten rid of them all to start afresh!
However, never fear! Our awesome voiceless-song will provide you with a new prompt project that will focus more on grounding us on earth.
We have many, many projects in store for you all! One of them may (or may not) be a contest, focusing on anthology, which should give you plenty of clues as to what to expect from this particular project!
Another project will be a lot more interactive involving collaboration! Planning is in the works for this one. It will be more collaborative, and more competitive!
We will have an additional project involving our current submissions, the blog of which will be posted very soon!
Last, but not least, we will have a workshop once every two weeks to really knuckle down on what a six word story is really about.
If none of that is getting you revving for the new year, then clearly we are doing something wrong! Please let us know if that is the case and we will be happy to discuss things!
Thank you!

Weekly Spontaneity [201]
We are going to post something to spark those creative minds, be it a deviation, a quote, a song, or something else completely, and your purpose is to write a six word story. Perhaps the piece will provoke thought, inspire you, or evoke a particular response out of you. Whatever you write, it must be six words only (or rather, original guidelines apply) and you can write whatever you like as long as it is a response to the material we post.
Some Guidelines:
:bulletblue: Please post all six word stories here, in this blog.
:bulletblue: Only one six word story, per person, should be posted.
Last week, six word stories were based on this:

After an admin discussion, we have decided to enforce the story part of SixWordStories (https://www.deviantart.com/sixwordstories). This means your submissions must tell a story. It should be able to stand on its own without the title. Your story should create an image, or bring some feeling.
If you submit a visual piece, th
Monthly News Letter [March 2016]
Hello my fellow group members, it's your Founder SolarLunix (https://www.deviantart.com/solarlunix) here giving you a short news blast in an impromptu format.
First of all, I would like to apologize for my sudden absence, but I assure you I will be back in the full swing of things soon. There was a bit of a family issue on my end and I should have put some procedures in place for my absence. I have an idea on how to fix that, and that will start shortly.
Secondly, get your votes in for the monthly news letter from February. We are very short on votes.
Speaking of votes, there will be a few new systems in place starting next month. This will be outlined in the next monthly news
